Photo Gallery...before, during and after

Posted , 8 users are following.

On a different discussion some people have shared their before and after photo's and I thought it might be nice to have a thread just for photos.  If you aren't sure how to add a photo, above the comment box on the top right there is an icon that looks like a mountain and sun, click here and add your photos.

I have added my before and during and can only apologise in advance for the state of my foot but it will show just how dry the skin gets from being in bandages for so long

Thanks for the pictures. Can you tell me what the incision on the outside of the foot was for? Most seem to have only a scar over the bunion site.

      Hi Bev

When you mention the one on the outside of my foot, is it the one to the left of my foot?  I am sure that is the main bunion surgery, however I have had quite a bit done to my foot, this is what I have on my discharge notes:   right hallux valgus with second hammer toe, lapidus fusion + chevron + akin osteotomy + 2nd toe EDB tenotomy + EDL lengthening + 2nd pipj

Hi mine are on the other thread but post here as well to keep the gallery together. Left foot scarf and akin with second toe tendon release = new foot. No pain in my right foot so no operation on the one so now destined to have odd feet but hopefully pain free!
