Does anyone get tingles and muscles twitches everyday when anxious ?

I have had many test by different doctors who are 100% sure it anxiety related but I find it hard to believe every day these feelings would happen, even when I feel relatively calm ,

Anybody relate ?

I started getting panic and anxiety attacks 7 years ago with accompanying twitches and what felt like jolts in my head. Yes, anxiety can cause muscle twitches and tingles due to your stress and adrenaline levels. The muscles are simply reacting to changes in nerve energy, pressure, and body disrupted body signals. Similarly, adrenaline rushes throw the muscles extra energy, and these can also cause your muscles to feel "off," as though they need to move. In some people, this may be displayed through moving. With anxiety, there is generally a fear of health related issues we may be suffering from. Due to the severity of my anxiety and panic disorder it caused me to have myoclonic seizures (which is rare.)

To help ease your twitches and tingles avoid caffeine and make sure you're getting enough nutritional vitamins. Also you should be taking a vitamin B12 every day. Healthy exercise and/or swimming also works. Hope this helps! smile Any other questions just ask.

Thank you for your reply , I feel so much better knowing that it’s normal . Even though I’ve been told sometimes but it’s hard to believe it . I’ve always hadn’t a fear of health issues but it’s never got to me like this with effecting me everyday.

Thanks for your reply , I’ll sleep a little easier tonight .

Let me know if you ever need to talk

Hi ya Aimee, I had pins and needles in my fingers, then twitches in my left arm. All anxiety based. It’s only energy finding a release don’t worry about it, whatever the symptoms are, are all 100% anxiety based
