thank you for your response. i have been worried for the longest and actually like denying that i have anxiety because of my fear that something is truely wrong with me. I had a physical exam in june of this year, labs are normal except my vitamin d level was low but it has gone up since then, i have hypothyroidisim and hoshimotos too. But i always struggle with the what if's. I have had an ekg and chest xrays and normal. I just need to accept it and learn to deal and take it one day at a time

theres no quick fix or magical answer sadly. It is all a learning thing and applying what you learn over and over until you retrain yourself to think and react in a calmer rationale. It takes lots of time and lots of consistency. And a ton of self love whilst you forge thru it.
if you have done nothing to date try yoga. Yoga will cover body movement to remove blocked or pent up energy, teach you proper breathing and touch on mindful thinking and meditation, so very very useful start. Im not a big fan of hot yoga but there are others.

Hi there Haydee. Yes, it does sound like an anxiety / panic attack. Those are the textbook symptoms. However, it is always important, as Lisa said, to head to your Doc for a checkup. Once you've been cleared of any medical condition, you know it's just the anxiety. And that's not any easier, I know....but at least it'll be a start towards learning to cope. I find that taking long long long walks, pretty much daily, keeps my anxiety and depression at bay. Nights and mornings are bad for me, so if I walk in the morning before work/lecture and then walk right before bed, to help me sleep, I'm usually OK for most of the day. Still anxious, sure, but not as bad as if I just sat around and let the thoughts and symptoms consume me. But everyone is different, you'll find what works for you. Let me know if you need something....
Hugs xxx
