Those who ask whether to do physiotherapy. I saw my therapy dr yesterday. I am going into hospital on Monday for 2 weeks intensive therapy. Each day will have 2 sessions with pt, and a hydro session. Looking forward to losing some of the weight gained over the past 12 months. Then will have 2 days per week after that. 12 weeks po subtalr fusion. Still in boot. Feels great.

Hi - I had accessory navicular removal and PT tendon reattached with a huge bolt through my left foot in September. I have had bad time with complete non union and it only began “patchy “ healing in January so I am out of boot now and trying to walk on a partial union. I was having physio every other week but now he feels I need same as you. However I have had to join a specialist gym with Pts that specialise in surgery rehab. So I am doing intensive sessions with leg press work and bike work. Have to say it’s amazing and despite being painful at times I can see how this will really help. I have to work up to 4 sessions a week to load the tendon for a minimum of a month. Good luck with your rehab and recovery - we will get there x
