i had my tvt tape fitted on tuesday i am ok but sore and bruised. image

    You look very bruised indeed. It should sort itself out in about 2 weeks but please give yourself plenty of rest with feet up for at least a month, and no intercourse for 3 months although you will probably be told its OK after 6 weeks. 6 weeks is not long enough . The tape has to embed into the vaginal tissue and this takes time. Intercourse too soon will mean your partner getting a sore penis.

    Ouch was it keyhole? Glad all went ok and all best for a straightforward recovery

      yes keyhole. i couldnt pass urine so he went back and loosened tape. now i am retaining urine so have catheter ubtil monday
