How long have you had the bumps, and is this the first time? Did you have a potential exposure 2-20 days before they appeared? Are any of your lymph nodes in the groin slightly swollen or tender?

What i had didn't look too far off this. Like spots that were sort to touch. It didn't hurt to pee but it hurt to wipe. I have been visually diagnosed but it came back clear on swab and for hsv2 on blood test. I suffer from hsv1 orally so that came back positive.

Have you been around any allergen? Toilet tissue? Highly fragranced shower gels or anything else like that?

I had no other symptoms. No flu or anything else and no swollen glands. sad

It sure seems worth getting into a doc. The tests are pretty accurate when they swab a blister. Bloodwrk less so. Better to be on the safe side.

    Hows it feel today

I actually had the same bumps appear about 2 months ago! They were sore about a week and then disappeared on their own, no scabbing or anything except they were on the other side..

These however.. Ab a week ago I had yeast infection symptoms so I treated for a yeast infection.. And then these popped up. Not sure if those were my symptoms before having a breakout or what..

They popped up Tuesday... Today they aren't really painful to urinate.. But I can still feel them there and it's uncomfortable... It does hurt to wipe like I don't even wanna wipe on that side!

Hmmm, if they recur, then that's rather suspicious... Best to get them looked at and tested. A PCR swab can be done on older lesions, unlike a viral culture. Costs more, though, but much more accurate and you won't have to wait till the next recurrence.

I couldn't make it in my doc today because they close early on Friday! I'm aggravated with that because I'm probably going to have to wait until I get these blisters again to test!!! So frustrating.

Keep us posted! I can't even see my symptoms. I saw some shiny things that looked like they could be sores but it was so hard to see. It didn't look like yours though. I look like I have a rash on and off but I still have a yeast infection that's being untreated. I did see two red dots on my right side today but looks like I cut myself shaving although I haven't shaved in a few days. I've now spoken to three doctors and they all say visually I don't look like I have herpes but when they checked my cervix they said I had an infection caused by herpes. Tomorrows a big day for me I'll finally get answers. I'm hoping I won't have anything and this will all be a nightmare I'm waking up from. I've accepted the fact that this might be my scenario though. I cried all last week I can't live like that. If it's herpes I f***ed up and need to just be thankful it wasn't anything worse. We shall see!!

I would get them checked out. When my sores first appeared they looked nothing like the herpes pictures. Even the doctor wasn't sure if they were herpes or not but they turned out to be HSV-1.

Hey Stacey.. The sores went away fairly quick & I wasn't able to get them scraped! They lasted exactly 7 days! And on the 7th day they were completely gone! I'm guessing I'll have to wait to get checked if and when they come back...

I know this isn’t a bit later but I’m having the same issue and I’m really scared. I just turned 18 and went to the ER last night and they said I wasn’t clear from everything. No BV or yeast infection. I want the pain to go away. It’s constantly itchy and burning.
