I don't believe that for one second, nevertheless a pretty (in the case of a female), or handsome (in the case of a male), dog that is.

That's a good idea Anne! I could post our dog! He barks like mad when anyone knocks the door, yet hes a very small version of a Jack Russell. He never bites anyone - the only thing in his life is his ball and someone to throw it for him. My son one year did it for 6 hours one afternoon and he still wanted to carry on!

He not like your normal dog, our cats are bigger than him and hes scared of them, he hates pigeons, hates the rain, but if we get hail stones then he will go outside and try and catch them! eek He even sleeps next to the cats, which we have two of... BTW, our dog is Oscar

    Regards,

    Les.

Hi Les, hope you are ok?.. Yes, Dylan barks like crazy if anyone is around, postman parcel man etc. He would never bite anyone- just wants to play. Although he does spend most of the day and night asleep. At this moment he is squashed down the side of the chair by me, it is where he always goes as soon as he sees me getting the laptop..What breed of dog is yours? Dylan chases the birds, and if it starts raining while he is in the garden he just starts running round like mad. He also enjoys going to the seaside, digging large holes in the sand and lying in it..You can imagine the state of his coat..

      Have a good day Les...Anne...biggrin

Hi Anne, I'm not too bad - There is one thing thats really annoying that Oscar does ( apart from bad wind!! lol ) and that is barking when its all quiet in the house at night. He is a Short Legged Jack Russell, looks the same as a standard one apart from little legs. He really does have some funny ways though that we've never seen in previous dogs:

      1. He feels the cold so he lies in front of the Tumble Drier.

      2. Goes in to a hyper frenzy when bathed, hilarious to watch, out the bathroom, down the hallway, through the Lounge, then the Kitchen out the backdoor right to the top of the garden and back again, he does it until he feels dry, then he stops and wants his little colllar back on. He hates having his collar off, don't know why just always been that way.

      3. Now I said he likes people to throw his ball for him so he can get it and bring it back, but I did miss one thing off there. If no one takes no attention and won't play ball then he throws it himself and go's and gets it, hoping someone will play ball.

      4. We didn't get him until he was 4 years old, and the people that were getting rid of him, wanted him to go to someone they could trust - or they would have had him put down, but there was a reason why. When he was a puppy he was accused by a neighbour of attacking a pigeon, and they broke his back leg. You can still tell now if you know his background. There is no need for violence to a dog, he so small, and spoilt by us - no one hits him in our house.

      5. My wife has the double-bed to herself, and our dog has his own blanket at the bottom of the bed. I have to sleep on a single Hospital Bed provided by the District Nurses, which is electric and has a massaging mattress. It has a remote control to position it how I want it, because of my swollen legs, ankles and feet. Having Dystonia is a pain itself, but having numerous other ailments does really get me down sometimes.

What gets me Anne is some people that visit think we are rich, gawd I wish I was! Whats really ironic is my DLA was increased before Christmas last year. Then a month ago I get a letter from the DWP wanting us to start paying for a Social Fund Loan which was issues in 2005, 10 years ago!! I phoned the DWP up complaining and they said I owed it. I will admit we hoard letters, and had them dating back that far and beyond. It clearly showed we were paying the DWP back the £747 loan in 2006 over 11 months. I thought got them! Phoned the DWP and I got through to Recoveries Department - first the guy gave me his name, then I asked him his Team Number, he said I don't have one, I said Okay then Call Centre Name which he gave me a bogus one. So, there was my wife and I firing questions at him, he was taking long pauses before answering, and it was obvious he was lying.

When we said we had a letter stating it was being paid back from 2006, he said that could of been sent out in a computer error! My wife said, right so your saying all of these other letters amounting to 12 of them from different DWP departments are all errors as well? So, why put on the bottom of your lettters "Please keep this letter as your future reference. We now know that the DWP DO NOT EXCEPT their own headed letters as physical proof. And the other strange part is we cannot seek to use the Statute Barred Act against them, because conveniently they are EXEMPT!! Only the DWP though, very strange that.

Sorry, rant over its Easter Sunday!!

      Regards,

      Les.

Phew Les, that was a good long posting. Thanks for that. Glad you are sorting things out with DWP,it sure pays to keep all letters.

Your litle Oscar sounds so cute. Dylan sleeps all night, then when he decides to get up which is just now 10.45 he jumps on the settee, curls up on the cushion and back to sleep..Probably be late afternoon before he goes out to do his business..So lazy..Have a good day.Anne..
