I'm 17 and male, I've had piles for 2 years and recently have seen a doctor, she performed the standard check and DRE and found nothing. I've passed blood about twice since then and when I wipe there is a big streak of blood.I've organised another doc appointment what will happen to me now

    Don't panic too much, you may be prescribed cream to start with. Remember it looks like lots of blood on the paper and in the loo but it's not usually very much. Stay calm and let the docs do their thing. There are various surgeries possible if it comes to that and the procedure I had (halo) was not as bad as some make out. Not pleasant but manageable

      I didn't have enough space to type it but there is also a weird bubbly feeling like something has just fell out of my anus and stayed there and when I wipe it goes away and there is a massive streak of blood from where I wiped

    HI YOU POOR THING YOU ARE RIGHT TO GO BACK AND SEE ANOTHER GP.YOU COULD HAVE A PILE FURHER UP THEY CARNT FEEL ARE YOU ITCHING OR FEEL AN BUMPS AROUND THE ANUS AREA.SURE ITS NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT

    I'm so sorry to hear that...but dont panic, it'll get better.  Try the cream like others recommended.  For myself, I have severe internal and external hemmorhoid ever since I had my 12 year old.  I never really deal with it because I dont like surgery and I opt for diet control and it has been manageable.  My experience tells me, when I have lots of deep fried stuff, meat, spicy... (I can tell hemorrhoid will be a problem).  But if I stay with veg, fruit, steam, boil...light flavour stuff...I'm good always.

    Whenever I had bad hemmorrhoid, I use green bean boil with water until it soften.  add brown sugar or rock sugar (not white sugar).  I just eat that loyally.  lunch dinner... whenever.  It works like a charm next day.  pain will be gone and swellen will disappear.  You will find green beans in chinese grocery and it's like US$1.4/bag.  I use the whole bag in a pressure cooker, 10 mins is done and it taste pretty good too...just a dessert.
