Piles for more than a month now?

Posted , 2 users are following.

Hello, I am new to the forum and I hope I am posting this in the right place. I am posting this because I suspect that I have piles. It all started with minor constipation and with in 2 days it got severe (when I say constipation I mean hardness to pass stool). However, I still go to the loo daily. Anway, long story short, I have been having severe bleeding, pain and constipation for over a month now. Without having a break. I suspect its piles because it runs all along my dad's family. But I am starting to fear this as it hasn't gone away yet. Is this normal? The blood is fresh and bright. However the pain at the bottom is unbearable. I am already taking enough amount of insoulable fibre, drinking plently of water, and always had gone to the gym on daily basis. Could anyone throw light on this scenario and tell me if this is normal? I am thinking about going to GP but my work doesn't provide me the chance to do so.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank You

    HI Arthur

I had a haemorroidectomy earlier in the year.

If you are bleeding from your behind...don't mess around...GO TO YOUR GP immediately!!  rectal bleeding could be haemorroids, an anal fissure or worse still, the cause of cancer sypmtoms!  If you can't get to your GP , go to an NHS walk-in centre.  You'll be useless at work if you are ill or worse still...dead!

If haemarroids...they will only get WORSE!...so...screw your employer...your health is No1!..that's irreplaceable!  Call in sick...an emergency hospital appointment!  Tell your boss you have internal bleeding...which you do!

Good luck...but don't mess around with this!

Thank you for your response. I haven't registered for a GP yet. Does the walk in center accept me as an emergency case? Once again, thank you for your time.

If you are bleeding...YES!  The concern is cancerous issues!  You'll have a check from a doctor...they'll either send you for an endoscomy first (a camera up your rectum to check the problem & for cancer signs) or refer you to a GP/specialist.

I would advise you put your health before your work!!

Yes I am bleeding when I use the loo and it hurts to death at the bottom. I highly suspect its anal fissure due to constipation.. I am not bleeding other times. Does that count? And also, as I have said before. I am a foreign nation so I haven't re gistered for GP yet. How would the A&E department refer me to GP without me having registered for one at the first place.

      Thank You
