pilinidal sinus girl

i had mine stitched up last year november 16th 2007 it took a long while to heal as i had problems with the bottem stitch it has healed in march this year but wot i was wondering how u know if youve got pilinidal again cos sometimes i get a shooting pain in that area

does anyone know .

    Shooting pain, Itching in the area, reddening of the area and tracts open all point to it coming back. But sometimes after surgery shooting pains can occur. Go back to the doc and get them to check it out

    Its a common misconception that you can always tell from the outside you see the sinus is what happens when the presure builds up forcing its way through the skin, there can be an abcess without external signs.

    In other words its hard to tell sometimes visually but a doc can order an MIR which will show if you have an abcess or tracks. The fact you have had problems there before means you should have it checked
