Pilocarpine and dry mouth with SS

Hi there. I have been prescribed this 3 times a day by my rhumi cuz my dry mouth is so bad at the moment. Anyone taking/en this and can share experience? Any input would be most appreciated. Thank you!

    Hi Chris,

    I took it for awhile and it did help. I would take it as needed because you may over produce saliva and sweat. I don't have any real side affects. Hope it works out for you.

      Thank you so much for your response. I will try it. My rx calls for 3x a day. I didn’t really want to take it because of it possibly causing blurred vision as I have enough eye problems at the moment- ha ha:-(......thanks again for your input.

    Hi Chris. I was just prescribed pilocarpine to help with dry mouth

    I noticed this post was 4 months ago and I’m wondering how it has been working for you

      Hi there. Thank you for getting back to me about this. I started to take them but I felt really bad after taking the pills. Blurry vision. sick to my stomach, etc. So I never really gave the pills a chance. I was just starting to take plaquenil and effexor and I just felt it was all too much for my system. I would try them if you feel ok now. I just felt really f ed up so I did not give them a chance. Please let me know how itt works for you. I wish you all the best. This disease doth sucketh.
