Hi, back in April I got my pilonidal cyst removed and now it has fully healed. Today I went cycling for about 2 hours and when I came back home I felt pain around my wound. Just wanted to know if it's normal and if I should be worried.

Surgery for a pilonidal cyst can be quite deep and takes time to heal properly. If this is the first time you have been cycling after your procedure,you may have overdone it slightly and just caused some irritation to the healed tissues.No cycling until the pain has gone and then take it easy with more cycling...maybe half an hour at first, then an hour etc.
If the pain increases or you are concerned in any way,do see your doctor for advice.
