Pilonidal Cyst...? What should I do?

hello, I have had what looks to be a Pilonidal Cyst for a few months now. It doesn't hurt or itch hardly at all unless something pokes it, so it isnt something i feel like i need to get pain relief immediately, if at all. I know i should just go in and get surgery or whatever to get it removed, but now isnt the best time for me, so i wanted to ask for advice on if i could wait until the spring or if its too big of a risk that it might get infected? thanks!

    i recommend u get it removed as soon as u can if its causing pain

    i had one for 15 years and it def did cause alot of pain on and off and it woukd swell and drain once a month. i finally was able to have surgery this past sept. its almost healed! I say if you have to wait you will be ok but if it swells and opens go to doc for antibiotics and get it removed as soon as you can.
