hey

i had a pilonidal sinus too sad they really are unbearable....i wouldnt wish it on my worst enemy.

went to see my doc coz i had a tiny spot on my bum and he sent me straight up tp A&E, said it was the biggest he'd ever seen!!

i havent been to school in 8 weeks coz of the damn thing....and the infection keeps coming back so now i need a 2nd op sadsad i'm only 17! sadsad

    For anyone out there who thinks they have this get checked right away!!

    mine went from a small itchy bump to a full blown infection within days.

    I had to have it cut open and cleaned out, it had gone pretty deep, over an inch.  This is nothing to mess with.  It's not going to go away by itself!

    I see that this was posted a year ago, but I'm 18 and already on my second surgery. Doctors think it will keep coming back.
