i had my op 16th november 2007 it was scary when i found out i had it, it was very painful i had it stitched up but the last stitch was infected and wouldn't heal so i had to go to the hospital and have this chemichal on the wound and only this month it has just healed . i wish everyone goodluck with the operation. :

Would you mention more about the operation please (name etc...) and was it silver nitrate that was the chemical?
Also, how was the stich infected?
I would appreciate if you could do this.

This is chels the operation was called excision of pilonidal sinus, the chemical was yellow and it stained my underwear i dont know what the chemical was called, the stitch became infected as it was further down and when i went to the toilet and wiped near that area it wouldn't heal
