Hi Everyone , well after my consultant up and left all her patients in the lurch , I had hoped to see the other Consultant who ran a clinic the same day , and was told to get my GP to do a refer letter to him , well he did , but the answer came back " cant help at the moment" suggest you try another consultant. I am so so very angry , given that she has left , obviously no forward planning , so why cant the patients left in limbo be dvided between all the other Ortho consultants !!!!!! , more time wasting , and the reason I couldnt answer the phone to my DR was that my KNEE HAD LOCKED AGAIN , that with my fibro giving me absolute gip today hasnt helped my temper . SO now another letter , another wait till they read it , another wait for an appt, perhaps xmastime !!!!! this year , next year , who knows ?

Going to have a cuppa , to calm me down x

    Hi lubyloo I am so sorry to hear the run around your having, its not good enough, and not on. Thats all we get the run around all the time.was just talking to a neighbour thats having the same problem. if you can afford to pay how your seen alot quicker??? I think all the patients should of been divided between the other orthos consultants theirs no excuses for whats gone. You could be looking at dec or next year now before you get seen disgusting. Take care

    Shocking treatment..really feeling for you..unreal system you got there..,wouldn't it have just been professional of your doctor to have fixed all of her patients up before she left......or in an emergency to have something in place...I'm not saying our system is perfect..but I havent heard anyone complaining about things like this..long waiting lists for some surgery perhaps...but not if it's bad..straight in and done..goes by the urgency not where you are on a list..it's really up to your doctor when he refers you what number you get out of 3. I think it is.,but I always recon..if you have a long wait your pretty blessed your not as bad as the ones in front if you... ...hate that it's always about the $ in the end..it's a shocker really.hope you enjoyed your cuppa LUBYLOO, I'm having one outside in the sun right now...do hooe you get to see a soeak it's soon..be blessed and have a lovely day..:-) xx
