Pink discharge with Canesten?

Posted , 1 user is following.

Hi all- my doctor advised me to use the three day canesten treatment with the cream for a yeast infection. This afternoon, after 2 tablets, I had a very small amount of light pink discharge? Almost like bubblegum in colour, and chalky like the rest of the discharge I've had- however it was white until now (which I was told was just the tablet dissolving).

Is this normal? My guess is the applicator must've irritated something and there was a tiny bit of blood. My doctor also tested for chlamydia and gonnorhea, but she didn't believe this was the issue based upon the physical exam.  I'm still awaiting those results.
