Pink rash next to nipple

A couple of weeks ago I had a bright pink mark right next to my nipple, around a couple of cm in diameter. No itching or pain.

I managed to get a phone consultation with a doctor that prescribed me an ointment that I used for 10 days.

The redness faded a lot within a day or two of using the cream but there is still a slight redness that hasn't gone away or changed for the past week.

Trying to get an in person appointment to see my doctor is proving difficult and I made the mistake of googling it and have freaked myself out.

I've also started to experience some aching on the breast which I'm not sure if the stress and focussing on is causing

I'm reasoning with myself that as it faded a lot that its probably nothing too sinister but I'm worrying that it hasn't gone completely. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?
