So a couple of months ago I had a biopsy done on a mole on the back of my neck and it came back negative but now the area around it is all pink/red (like 1in big) and theres a small pea sized bump where the mole was any ideas of what this is? Its not painful and there is no rough or scaly skin just a 1 inch red spot where a mole (couple cm) was removed. Haven't tried any ointments or anything cause i just discovered it. Please help I'm confused a little worriedimage

When a mole is removed and/or a biopsy conducted, it is normal for the area to be red/pink for several months afterwards. It all depends how quickly your skin heals. Monitor it to ensure there is no infection.
