pins and needle /numbness

I had my thp 18 days ago and i know its still early stages yet but has anybody else experienced pins and needleand numbness in their op leg i cant sleep for it its tere all the time but seems more painfull at night i also have a swollen foot

    Sue I am 4 weeks after hip replacement and I still have pins and needles.I am also haveing problems with insiceion healing.I cant sleep in bed yet so been in recliner.I still have pain and stilled swelled.in the leg foot and ankel.Ido know one thing tho I am suppose to have right hip done also but after this with the left aint no way goint to get it done.

    Hi Sue I am 2 weeks post op.  I still have numbness and electric shock pain in my good leg since op.  Can't lie in bed as pain unbearable but managing to sleep on couch without pain.  Has got slightly better since bern prescribed gabapentin.  Bern advised to keep doing exercises and should get better in time.  Take care

    i to have the same problem!!!! skin around the ankle and foot feels really tight tingling toes and the numbness in the foot!!!!
