Pins and needles

HI

i suffer horribly with pins and needles all over my body and can loose feeling sometimes. its been ongoing for over a year but symptoms at first were very subtle. Now its so intense that its causing me a lot of pain and horrible sensation at the back of my head. My GP sent me for bloods and everything was fine except my vitamin D levels were extremely low. maybe i shouldn't trust google, but I'm not convinced that is the issue as its never has been a problem even when i first got symptoms as i had a blood test then . every search i do comes back with diabetes and there being a link with vitamin d deficiency yet my blood work came back clear. I've only been on the medication for vitamin D for a week. of course i don't want there to be a problem but at the same time i don't want to be shrugged off when its causes a-lot of pain. Is there anything else it could be? as the doctor just wants me to take the vitamin D for 6 weeks and go from there. could there actually be an error in terms of the blood sugar levels etc.. it just sounds like the diabetes diagnosis from checking my symptoms sounds more plausible. whatever i do doesn't help the pins and needles and some days are worse then others. Its making me so down! i have confidence in my doctor, but i just don't feel right. any support would be great!
