Pins and needles after increase ssri

Hi

I've been on citalopram since 2010. The last couple of months my panic disorder has been through the roof so I decided to increase my dose from 20mg to 30mg two weeks ago. Mentally I'm seeing small improvements, but I'm also experiencing prickling sensations in my arms, legs and face. They don't feel the same as my normal tingling/numbness when having panic, but I guess these are more like pins & needles?

From 2012 untill 2016 I was on 30mg as well but never had this side effect. I'm now afraid that this effect will stay and I have to decrease my dose or do I just have to sit it out for a few more weeks?

it would be good to discuss this with your doctor. He or she would know whether to adjust the dosage. Sometimes it’s just trial and error. Hope that sensation goes away for you
