Pins and needles in face

Posted , 3 users are following.

I have experiencing pins and needles in my face recently. It has been particualrly when I am washing and in contact with hot or cold water.

Does anyone else experience this, I am trying to determine if it is related to my B12 deficiency.

Low B12 affects the myelin sheath at the end of the nerves.

    What treatment are you having?

Do you know what your Folate level is?

I am not medically trained but have had P.A. (a form of B12 deficiency) for 45 years

It is possibly related to your B12 deficiency, as that can cause numbness. I would advise you to see your GP and discuss it with him/her as you might need a referral to a neurologist. Has it come on suddenly, or following dental treatment?
