Pins and needles in left thumb that travels to shoulde

Hi im 54 years old last Saturday i started to get pins and needles in left thumb that travels to left shoulder whent to urgent care care on Wednesday they said i have a muscle spasm in my shoulder that is causing this my anxiety is threw the roof thinking im having a stroke or heart attack help

    its very common. . nerves get pinched, muscles spasm,do u use a computer a lot? poor posture when sitting? lots of things cause that feeling. I get that when I sleep the wrong way. it should go away on its own.
