pins and needles itching restless legs

I keep on Getting pins and needles itching and restless legs of a night only. Im typing this at 5.30 am after not sleeping at all. The worst pain is in my lower arms its as if a needle is being stuck in. Its also in my body and legs but not as bad. I have suffered with bad nerves and currently take medication for it could it be my nerves Thankyou

    Hi Marcus,

    sorry about your discomfort. I'm not sure if this is of any help but two things come to mind. One being a pinched nerve can cause pins and needles but not nessacarily throughout your body. Anemia can also cause restless legs, and pins and needles but I'm not sure about the itching. Could it even be the meds that you are having a reaction to? Sorry wish I could be of more help. Hopefully things get better soon.

    A lot of drugs can cause restless legs and also itching

    Have you discussed this with your GP?  Google the drugs you are taking and put 'with restless legs'  and see what comes up

    I know, for example, that Hydroxyzine and Ranitidine give me restless legs
