Pins and needles, numbess

Posted , 3 users are following.

I've had pins and needles 24/7 for 6 months now. I'm my legs and feet. I also get it in my right hand if I'm holding something.

Just recently I've started to get completly numb feet and legs when sat down with my legs straight out. It's as soon as I sit like that and the longer I do, the worst the numbess gets. Any ideas please?

Thank you

You probably have a pinched nerve.  Your doctor can suggest some things for you to try, such as 10 days of steroids, acupuncture, and back exercises.  After you have an MRI he might send you to a pain management specialist to get a steroid injection in your spine (I've had several & they're no big deal.). Surgery should always be your last option.

Thanks for your replies. I'm having a full spinal MRI on Thursday. I already see a pain specialist
