Blue2010...I'm quite surprised a doctor would prescribe medication for you without running a test, or perhaps he/she felt the meds would help & if not, then would go on to run some tests.

What you describe seems to point to nerves. Pins/needles/tingling are are signs that something is irritating the nerves. How well I know. I've been suffering with weird nerve sensations for a few years now, & it's still ongoing, but I'm in the midst of seeing my Dr. once again, & being strong about someone (a Specialist or whatever) to get to the bottom of the issue.

I would suggest you ask your practitioner for either a CT scan or MRI..If you have a disc problem, which is very possible; the opening of the disc could be quite narrowed, therby

irritating the nerves, which in turn will give you the symptoms you describe. A downright pinched nerve can do the same as well. It's very common for us to have disc issues without us even knowing about it. Apparently, our spines start to deteriorate when we are very young.

Some people develop symptoms, while others do not.

    Hope I have helped.
