PIP and more information

I have just today received my wife's scan results to do with her stomach pains or another illness that contributes to the pain she suffers ..the scan shown her remaining kidney ( she only had one due to having one removed due to kidney failure) is not working as it once was so shows its failing also come back she has gallstones ..this hasn't been added to her form as she hadn't had the scan by the time the firm had to be back ..also shows her sygmoid as muscular hypertrophy?? But these are just a couple of tests back she sees the specialist on Tuesday as they are worried growths have grown back in her bowel and unsure if it's malignant or not .. but although PIP isnt about what illness you have but it's a factor in how her daily life is ..due to the constant pain and tiredness .. can this be added to the forms by the medical person who is coming out next week for her medical ?

Thankyou for all the comments and I do listen to all you are saying being good or bad points ..but I don't expect people to knock my wife's illness when she is a ticking time bomb ..her dad had the same illness and we lost him not long ago to a brainstem stroke in a coma for 10 days before passing away just waiting for his heart to stop .. so as for Les saying this is temporary then he needs to get his facts right ...this may not be cancer but it's a disease that will kill her not ever get better ...so back to my post it was about if I should add some more information to the form as it's some not all if the pain she suffers every day so adds in a small way to not being able to do things etc .. if I went into what I do for her it would be an essay daily . Thankyou Sandra for defending my wife and actually knowing where I'm coming from ..life's a biatch

David Les was pointing out the way that the PIP assessor could view what you have posted and the implications for your wife’s claim. The process is not an exact science and frankly if you are so sensitive then you shouldn't ask for advice on a public forum where replies of Oh dear and that’s awful are completely useless and don’t help you in any way.

I have fully explained that the evidence you seek to have added is really not the point. You have proved your wife's illness, what PIP are looking for is proof of your daily care. Again if you are so sensitive to other more qualified people offering good practical advice then the problem is with you not the others who seek to help you.

What I was worried about was that you went into great detail over your wife’s medical condition but hardly mentioned any personal care. I know for certain that is a route to failure when it comes to a PIP claim and I simply wanted to steer you away from that mind set. Again if your sensitivities can’t handle that then the blame is yours not others trying to help.
