PIP ASSESSMENT REPORT

Posted , 6 users are following.

On Thursday a member of my family went for a F2F assessment for PIP, which she believes went well

I advised her to get a copy of the assessment report as i did when i had mine, she phoned up and asked if she could have a copy of the report only to be told by a DWP advisor that she could not have a copy until the decision maker has made the decision

This I know to be untrue as i got mine before the decision on my claim was made, I do not know how to advise further any advice on what she should do would be appreciated

As you have stated, you are allowed to see your assessment report, I recommend contacting the DWP again and start demanding an explanation as to why you were lied to. For far too long the Tories, as well as assessment providers ATOS, CAPITA and MAXIMUS have treated disabled people like trash and the latter 3 are well known for deliberately submitting reports that either miss crucial medical information or ridiculously understate a disabled person's medical condition.

    Hi,

You go get some that will refuse to send it. Simple thing to do is to ring again and speak to someone else, chances are the next person will happily send it out.

Yes I got my report before they made a decision as well. As Denise says it depends who you speak to.

It really should not be like that but there we are.

      HI Sarah

thank you for your response, she phoned again on Tuesday and this time they said they would send out that afternoon so hopefully not to long now before she gets it

      Thanks again

I think I got mine about 3 days after, didn't actually make any difference as I had to do an MR anyway because they reduced it but hopefully your daughters will be good from the start.

Hope you are all enjoying the good weather
