Hi I've received a letter today saying that the DWP have all the information to make a decision....any idea how long they take?...thank you

I waited about 4 days after receiving the letter, then rang them and was told the decision over the phone. Good luck x

Yea me too, not banking on it though, I have seen so many who don't get it so probably want be surprised if knocked back but will be disappointed as fairly housebound and miss going out and doing things

Yeah I'm going to be housebound for months as I'm having both hips replaced in a few weeks 😌....yep so many ppl who should get it don't sadly....be great to get it without having any hassle ...i don't want to be relying on ppl to post letters etc for me xx

I know its not good, I did put forward all reports and how long I will be unable to walk for, if that makes a difference, not sure it does but can only hope.
Maybe someone can let us know, mines going to be somewhat permanent which I'm sad about and will do everything in my power and God's to be mobile again.

Yep mines going to be permanent too...have severe arthritis in my back and spinal stenosis..im starting to get really down as I've always worked and I'll never be able to get back to doing my job as a nurse...im actually going to be a patient on the ward I work on 😏....hope your positive attitude helps towards your recovery xx

Yea so do I, what do consultants/specialists know, there my legs not there's.
Starting hydrotherapy soon I hope if they have space for me, I have ancolosing Spondilitis in spine and neck an RA is that similar, lots of other insignificant diseases but they don't stop me so hope this want.
Will not be great to have others telling you what to do will you do as your told

Yeah my husband isn't cut out to be a Samaritan 😁 he'll deprive me of my prosecco 😐 hopefully we will both get good news 😊 my work friends are saying I'll be a nightmare 😂 xx

I should hope you will, no point being on the receiving end and not making them suffer LOL my OH had been fantastic in fact he's gone above and beyond the call of duty, funny cause he fed me loads of crap and I still didn't lump weight on, must be true what they say healing bones need more calories
