Pip decisions help plz

hi just wanting some help/info. ive currently received PIP & just had an update & home assessment. to cut long story short, previously i was awarded low mobility & care but now been awarded higher care & no mobility when my needs for care have increased but my mobility is worse aswell. is it worth trying to ask for a reconsideration?

    Hi I'm sorry that you have been knocked down on your PIP it's no fun as I have just had the same, I was on enhanced on both and they reduced my care down to low so I did an MR it came back today after only 3 weeks no change, I decided that it was worth asking them to do the MR as its fairly rare to lose the benefits you won.

    What points did they remove from your claim that you received last time and how long have they awarded your new claim for.

    I wouldn't hesitate to do the MR but its definitely your choice.

    I'm now getting ready to appeal their decision though.

    Hi, sorry to hear that, before you submit your MR, request the assessors report from dwp, then you can see what they have marked you down on, use this information to undermine what the Hp and Dm have said in your MR. You can call and ask for this and they should post it out fairly quickly.

    Definitely ask for a reconsideration. And if the decision stays the same then appeal it.

    If you do they look at the whole claim again, not just mobility part

    thanks for the messages. i spoke to them & have asked for a reconsideration & asked for the reports, i was told i would need to back this up with evidence from my gp consultant etc, yet on the day i informed the person who came to see me my mobility was worse & id ticked the wrong box & had declined, the lady made me move a couple of steps as she could see how much pain i was in. when making the decision, the dm had tried to contact me & left voicemail but with no name of who to contact as had some questions wanted to ask before making decision yet as id got the voicemail & contacted dwp they had then made the decision but could not see of what there queries was & what questions they wanted to ask when tried to contact myself. i hope by doing this it will not make my claim any less for asking for another decision
