PIP !!!!! I've had my decision

Well just before I went to work this morning I had a text from dwp and it said that I have been awarded it and that I do not not to do anything a letter will be sent to explain everything and a payment will be paid into my account in the next two weeks !!!

Put it this was I broke down I was shaking crying I just can't believe it !!! I thought they just think fibro is a lie and we are lazy people I don't even care about the money just so happy that I was listened to and my illness is real !!!

I do not no which pip I have got the higher or lower just that I have got it and I look forward to updating you all !!! For those who are trying good luck and make sure you tell them everything to do with your pain and what it does to you

    What did they ask you when you had your home visit I have just made a claim I really need the money I'm struggling on income support ATM any pointers you can give would be great x

      To be honest Hun I just told them that my 16 year old looks after me as lots of tasks I can't do like simple thing like peeling potatoes as my hands go into spasm to looking after my one year old as I can't even pick him up I also have a cleaner as I can't do it on the plus side I was having a really bad day when she came I had terrible shooting pain threw my hips and down my legs I could hardly stand up plus my doctor and mental health nurse had some involvement plus all medication I'm on and the few AIDS I use to help me. Eg a sponge on a stick a chair in the shower etc

      Thank you Hun xx I just feel we are all getting somewhere it really upsets me when people look at me and think oh there's nothing wrong with her when the pain inside is absolutely agony and you try to put a brave face on or you are just high on pain killers. I think I was lucky with my assessment lady she was lovely

      Unreal..if you wire a cast on your arm, we would be looked at differently, at least on this site, everyone us on the same boat and we all really kmow.......be blessed have a lovely day..😘😍

      Can i ask please, do you have a bath seat that raises up/down? Im having difficulty in the bath, id rather bath than shower, i have a shower, had o.t out, but, because my bath is a weird shape, they said i couldnt have a bath board, i can see their point re bath shape, but, i know my bath woukd taje a rise and fall seat, its all about money!! Makes me mad, when this would help me, also my hubby struggles to!! Im gling to get in touch again i think, i think its be ause we own the house!!

      No I don't and to be honest I have a 3 storey house and the main bathroom is on the top floor so I do not use it I use the shower in my ensuite which is on the second floor where the living room is xxx hope you get some help Hun xx
