Hello I got a letter today saying one of our health professionals has looked at information we’ve asked for further information we’ve done this to make sure the assessment report we send to dwp about your case is fair ....I’ve sent lots of letter from my gp my home treatment team an my psychiatrist will I still need to go to a face to face

Hi,
Most people have an assessment yes, even when they ask DRs/Consultants for more evidence. It's rare to have a paper based decision. The next letter you receive will most likely be for the assessment date.
