PIP question

So I received a text from DWP on 23 December last to say they had received my PIP review form. Does anyone know how long I may have to wait for a decision letter one way or another bearing in mind my award runs out in May?

    Hi,

    There's no timescales, unfortunately. Your file will be sent to the health assessment providers to be looked at by a HCP and then they will decide if a face to face assessment is needed. Most people have them so you should expect one of those.

    How long it takes is anyone's guess. If a decision's not made by the time your PIP ends it will stop. Once a decision's been made, if successful it will be backdated to the date it stopped.

    All you can do is wait i'm afraid.

    mine was the same mary i got my letter yesterday i got the mess 16th dec
