Just had my pip review at home and found it strange that it was the same assessor as last time ...my condition had gotten worse a year into my award and I’d notified the DWP still was dreading it even thou I was totally truthful ....the fact was I was awarded standard rate for both last time and as I’d said I was a lot worse and I’m now on morphine and have other things wrong too...this is what I don’t understand if They take everything off me isn’t that man calling himself his decision maker and my consultants liars??

Hi Deborah,
Wow the chances of having the same assessor must be very rare, not hear of this before. If this person does tell lies in the report then you'll certainly have grounds for a complaint. Did you have a copy of the last assessment report? If you do then you can compare them.
I really wouldn't look too much into it at this stage. For now you've done all you can. Middle of next week you can ring DWP and ask for a copy of the assessment report. This will give you some idea what the decision will be as mostly they go with that report.
As a few said in your last thread it's always a big risk report changes rather than wait for your review date. Hopefully for you it will be good news, and you'll either have a higher award or stay as you are now. Good luck.

You're welcome Deborah,
I'd leave it until middle of next week before contacting DWP for the report. They can't send it to you until they have recieved both copies. If you ring now and they just "add a note" for when the reports do arrive, the note could be overlooked and they won't send the report. xx

Well it is really. I got 6 points in July and just had a second review last week. The assessor said I am not sure if you'll get more money than you do now but maybe they'll fix it for 4 years. I don't receive any money right now!! She also said she wouldn't attempt movements as too incapacitated. Well I should get daily living but not holding my breath! Are you going to tribunal to expose this irrational decision making? You,d have to do a MR 1st but unlikely they'll overturn at that stage. Poor you. x
