My 10 daughter has just been diagnosed with PR. She has the usual rash and is so uncomfortable and upset about how it looks, but she also says that when she walks the balls of her feet feel bruised. Has anyone else had these symptons?

Thank you so much for the advice! This forum has been a great support in finding info to help her. I'll try the head and shoulders. ??

Hi. i've been diagnose with PR & its turning 4 weeks. i currently take alovera vitamins & vitamin E 2x a day & i also use head & shoulder shampoo (clean & Dry) for my skin & its getting dry and the red getting darker but after i used head & shoulder/after shower my skin was very itchy and its getting much red again but later on its back to the usual texture & color which is dry and darker.
i just want to clarify, after shower with head & shoulder, it is normal that the skin will getting much red & itchy?
Thanks in advance

HI, It doesn't itch all over but she's only had it a few days. Have been using cortizone cream on the odd patch that does itch. Did you have itching all over from the beginning or did it start later on? The rash seems to come and go when it wants to. She has huge blotchy patches, especially on her legs. Does the Aveeno cream work to lessen the rash or just with the itching? Thanks

I didn't get anything on my legs and the rash was there 24/7. What has the doctor said it is?

I had itching start to finish all over. It was on my chest, tummy, my underarms and butt. I had the round herald patch on my chest which is a clear sign of it. The Aveeno cream helped but nothing stopped the itching apart from a cool shower and t-gel shampoo. I took anti histamine tabs and the cream from the doc but didn't work. I used e45 emollient bath oil too which soothed it. I can't eere commend t-gel enough it's dries the skin out but the Aveeno helps that, I got in the sun as much as I could too.
