pityriasis rosea or something else?

Firstly, I just want to say that I have a virtual doctors appointment scheduled for next Friday but until then, I just wanted to see if others agree with my self diagnosis to have some peace of mind until my appointment.

About a few weeks ago, I felt this oval patch of dry skin on The back of my thigh. I thought nothing of it and brush it off as being irritated skin. It didn’t hurt or itch or anything. Fast forward a couple weeks later I had another one on my stomach. That one didn’t it or anything either so I shrugged it off too. However, in the last week i’ve had over a dozen more pop up, mostly on my stomach and back. I don’t have any other symptoms besides a couple of sores in my mouth (which I read can be a part of it if your case is atypical). none of them itch or bother me or anything but they keep popping up. The only ones I have that aren’t on my torso or on the back of my knee and the one that was originally on my thigh (the first one).

I'be looked up pictures of pityriasis rosea and mine don’t seem as bad as a lot of them (I don’t have the Christmas tree look), but I cant find any other rash that matches what I’m going through.

I have attached a photo, do you guys think I’m right in my diagnosis?

A rash similar to pityriasis rosea also can be caused by syphilis and by certain medicines such as antibiotics. If you get a rash on the palms of your hands or the soles of your feet, see your doctor. This can be a sign of something more serious than pityriasis rosea
