i had my pkr on medial side 5 months ago,i'm still struggling with stairs, and pain still,im never comfortable, tight over the knee and opposite side to replacement,2 months ago i started to get a hot burning sensation from my thigh to my foot, really bad at night,im assuming nerve damage!
is this a common sign when going through the healing stage, would be grateful for any advice
many thanks

hi i had tkr 4 1/2 months ago. i get a burning and tingling sensation going right to my foot. i was told its the nerves knitting back together and that it will go. this is major surgery that we have all been through and dont realise it.
we must be patient and look after ourselves. its a long recovery.
you must use an ice pack on your leg 3 or 4 times a day for 15mins.
take care
