Plantar Fasciitis past 8 months!

Hi, I've had Plantar fasciitis since January 2016.  I've tried, frozen water bottles rolled on bottom of foot, golf balls, two different night splints, taping, continued running, not running, stretching, chiropractic and I'm still really struggling.  Saw sport ortho who only told me to stretch more and maybe we could try physical therapy.  Any other advice out there please??  Thanks so much.  Tired of the pain and just want to run!

I have plantar fascitis in both feet. I don't do stretching exercises at all. I don't run but used to walk a lot before the crime here got so bad. My pain was so bad that I would limp really bad the first 10 steps or so. At night it was the worst and i honestly felt like crawling to the bathroom when I had to use it. I had to quit wearing high heels (that helped some). I no longer walk barefoot all the time. What has helped me most is I purchased Abeo walking shoes and their shoe inserts. I still have some pain - but the pain is now more of an ache instead of making me limp. And I no longer feel like crawling to the bathroom at night. It's much better.

I also had in both feet. I would advise limit walking and no running until it's gone. My first foot took 9 months to burn itself out.  The second time I went to podiatrist who gave me cortisone injections.  While they made it feel better, they did not last and that foot took 18 months to get better.  I found wearing the night splint was the most help.  I also had to wear sneakers all the time, starting when I first got out of bed in the morning.

    I've heard PT can help.

I just takes time, a long time, and patience!

A really good physical therapist can strengthen the muscles and tendons in your feet and relieve your pain, in the mean time get some good arch supports not Dr schools (hard formed ones from somewhere like "Good Feet"... They saved my feet and lower back!)

Fire yout PT if they tell you to do the alphabet with your feet, or give you a rubber band to use at home! PT should work you and make you sweat there at their office with foot, ankle, and balance exercises!

    Hope this helps!
