Plantar fasciitis update

Got shot in heal on Monday. So far pain has decreased. Doctor said if it comes back he’s going to do topaz operation. Anyone familiar with this?

    A topaz operation, not familiar.  But, I would think/hope that the shot would help you.. gosh.. I hope so.

    That is something that I would never want to do is get a shot.. as I have heard not so great things happening to your foot/feet afterwards, But.. you did what you did.

    I've always said I would never do that bc of the pain...people say the shots really hurt so that's got me scared. How was it for you?

      The shots not only hurt, but I have heard of not so great side effects getting the shot.  For one, it can leave a permanent hole in your foot/feet.. yikes!!!

      So, you are okay with that.  Well,then.. good luck with that.  Are you by any chance overweight?  Because being overweight has something to do with PF.  I am a little overweight and have been working on getting some of the extra pounds off.  You could also try putting your feet up, massage, and compression socks.  Just a thought...
