Hi everyone. I am waiting for an appointment with a consultant regarding a hysterectomy, and starting to get a bit worried. The last consultant I saw said it maybe post ablation syndrome , so the only thing left was to have a hysterectomy because of the pain. Also my ca125 is still coming back high.

Has anyone else ever experienced this.

Thank you.

Thank you for your reply andrea. What were your blood results? And did you have to wait long for the operation? Hope you are ok now. X

Hi Tracey I had the ablation done and was in agony every time I was due a period. I suffered with it for some years and just couldn't take anymore. I had a full abdominal hysterectomy with bso last may and feel great best thing I ever did.

Hi karen, thank you for your reply. I had my ablation done 2 years ago and in pain all of the time. They found a cyst in my womb aswell. I was shocked that they said they would do a

hysterectomy because my dr said he would not consider it until another 4/5 years. I am definitely not waiting that length of time.

Hope you are well now xx
