Does anyone know what "non specific" T Wave mean on an EKG?

I went in to see my Physician and had an EKG and that was my results. I'm so scared!

    Hi Kay,

?Peter joined your thread with an urgent plea for help which was relevant as it referred to T-wave abnormalities. However, ecg interpretation is very difficult and needs to be supported with other evidence to make a realistic diagnosis.

?Finding an appropriate medical specialist to advise the patient on a specific course of action is difficult for a GP with only general medical experience and who relies on generic treatment recommendations from the government's NICE organisation.

?Fortunately, Peter and I decided to employ our own pulse oximeters to monitor our blood oxygen levels and pulse rates for many hours overnight. This looks to be a better predictor of potential cardiovascular problems than an ecg which only records electrical heart waveforms over a few beats.

?Thankfully, following comparison of our experiences of drug withdrawal using SpO2 (blood oxygen) computer analysis, Peter has had a referral to an appropriate specialist as you may see from the link he has included in your thread.

?This goes to show that the prescription of drugs is best mad by specialists in their field and withdrawal can be even more problematic.

    Good Luck

    Bob
