so ive been dealing with yeast infections and bv for months now and started developing a tear along the top part of my vagina, near my clitoris. Ive gone to the Obgyn and primary doctor multiple times now and they would prescribe me a one dose oral pill each time. it would help for a good week, and then the itching and burning would return. well, this past friday i started getting super itchy after work and felt like i was getting sick (body aches). fast forward to the morning, i have now multiple cuts on my vagina and all of these painful bumps all over and a yellowish discharge. ive been taking ibuprofen to help with the body aches and chills that ive been having and today i actually went to next care and the doctor said what im describing is a herpes outbreak?? i dont even know how that can be. ive been with my partner for 5 years and weve both have only had 1 previous partner. they ran a bunch of tests and now im just waiting on results. please someone tell me this could be something else? im literally so devastated

yes, this looks concerning in regards to herpes. I would recommend you see a primary Doctor as soon as possible for a SWAB test. They need to culture these sores.
