Its not the ob itself that is so bad. But the nerve pain and burning down legs and butt cheeks is almost debilitating. Anyone ever have this?

Yes I had the exact same thing and it got so bad, I had to drive to the ER. Do not be surprised if the doctors will not believe you and tell you only herpes zoster does that or think you're just trying to get pain pills.

Go to the ER and request nerve pain meds like neurontin or Lyrica. I was on neurontin for 3 months.

I know how you feel, you're one of the only ones I've read, that sounds as bad as me. How many days in are you on your breakout? The actuawsores weren't that bad for me either, it was the nerve pain. I felt like a burn victim.

Take action immediately, as it might get worse. The neurontin does help, but it does require some build up in the system. Narcotics don't do anything for nerve pain, which is why you have to take anticonvulsants for nerve pain.

Omg it hurts sooooooo bad. Sometimes the bottom of my feet even. It comes on about 3 days before an ob then sticks around for at least two weeks after. I hate this. My life is ruined

OK... Then i highly recommend getting on nerve pain meds. You also need to take all vitamin Bs, 2000mlgs of vit D daily and zinc. Are you in your 30s ans older?

Even taking something like wellbutrin may help w the nerve pain. Go see a neurologist.

So sorry to hear you have to go through this. I thought I had it bad..

I agree, the pain is awful and mine comes and goes even after the sores have gone. Gets me down but do ask doctor for nerve pain meds.
