I was injured at work a month ago they finally gave me an MRI and I really don't understand what it says.
T12-L1 unremarkable
L1-2 unremarkable
L2-3 mild degenerative change in fact joints no stenosis
L3-4 mild degenerative change in the facet joints, mild fluid in the facet joints,no stenosis
L4-5 mild fluid in the facet joints. No significant canal or foraminal stenosis
L5-S1 mild degenerative change in thevfacet joints. Slight posterior disk bulgingm mild bilateral narrowing. No central canal stenosis
What does this mean and what will stop the pain

I have had numbness in both feet when walking outside all year. I'm OK in the house and more recently have had lower back pain and feel 'pressure' when sitting and standing.
Neurologist ruled out all the weird diseases and left it at Idiopathic Neuropathy. My GP has referred me to a back specialist. I made an appointment with an osteopath and had my first session yesterday.
CT Spine lumbar: Assuming that the lowest mobile disc is L5/S1 the study includes from T12 through to the 5th sacral segment.
L2/L3, L3/L4 there is diffuse circumferential bulging of these degenerative discs. Nerve roots exit freely.
L4/L5, L5/S1 Diffuse circumferential disc bulging with ligamentum flavum thickening and bilateral facet joint degenerative change noted, however nerve roots exit freely.
Summary Multilevel lumbar degenerative disc disease and lower lumbar facet joint OA.
Thank you.

I'll let you know how things progress. I'm having my second appointment with the osteopath tomorrow.
