Please help

I am a 37 mother of two teenage boys.  I am also a type 1 diabetic.

about A year ago I started getting severe pain in my right foot and a dent in the skin where the pain was, 6 months later I was diagnosed with sciatica and it lasted 8 weeks, from then on I have had severe knee pain, where again my skin is dented. I have a lot of joint pain, including cracking and stiffness. I have insomnia, and get very out of breath and palpitations from just walking up the stairs.

Yesterday I went back to the Drs because I have neck, shoulder and arm pain. I was diagnosed with a trapped nerve! I have also started to forget things (like a whole conversation with my son, literally 5 minutes after it happened. I had no recollection of it) my husband says it’s like I’m in my own world sometimes and I feel very dazed and confused!

Drs aren’t taking me seriously, but I can’t get on with every day life, I’m struggling to get out of bed when the pain hits and it’s effecting work, life and my kids!! What do I do?

So sorry to hear of your strugglings . First you have got to get some sleep! Have you tried sleep meds or natural things like melatonin? Sleep is my #1 help with MECFS but i dont get my 8 hours needed, everyday😣. Then i suffer. Second, hsve you been tested for lymes disease or rheumatoid arthritis? Gluten/dairy allergies? People say the magnesium lotion helps with pain but may only be for muscles not joints. I swear by epsom salt baths. And yes i do think this illness affects our minds/memory . I put coconut oil in my decaf green tea along with hemp seeds and tiny bit kelp powder, raw honey and cinnamon. Try doing multivitamins and herbs. Calcium/mag/d may help u and with sleep. Best of luck! Glad youve got your hubby to help. Im single mom. Ugh. Least daughters are older.

    Is your diabetes under control?

Have you had blood works checked?

If you are in lot of pain that can cause forgetfulness also cause you to feel exhausted insomnia will also cause these.

Trapped nerve can be painful i would advise seeing a physio this may need to be at your own cost but it really is worth it.
