My glaucoma has only progressed at the frightening speed and my doctor said he basically can not help me anymore. I live on the East coast by basically willing to go anywhere in US to save my vision. Can please anyone recommend me a nice specialist?

Nancy: Your optometrist should have a direct link to a Glaucoma specialist. When you say "your doctor" are you talking about an optometrist or a GP? If you are not yet seeing an optometrist, you need to get to one ASAP so he/she can link you up with a Glaucoma specialist.
Have you had your IOPs (eye pressures) checked on a regular basis? This is vital info for the Glaucoma specialist along with a fields test.

My doctor is a glaucoma specialist, my readings are mostly normal , was checking them on the regular basis, but VF worsening all the time.
