Please help! Hormones out of whack!

I would like to apologize beforehand if I posted to the wrong spot, I just didn't know where else to put this. I will give a bit of background on me so maybe it will help. I have had hypothyroidism (Hashimotos) for around 20 years, and was diagnosed with Graves around a year and a half ago. My thyroid levels are finally in range for now. But I have had anxiety/depression pretty much my whole life which was always under control with medication. Got my period when I was 9 and was always on time and flow always 5 days. Around 37 years old I began noticing that periods were becoming irregular as well as new depression and anxiety symptoms. Fast forward to now, for the past 6 months or so a week before a period is due I get debilitating anxiety and depression. It is really scaring me now. I have a list of other possible premenopausal symptoms as well. What I am trying to get at is there any way to fix this or do you have to wait for your body and hormones to regulate themselves? I was on effexor 75 mg for years and now am on 150mg for 4 months but nothing is helping the UPS and downs of this depression and anxiety. I feel like my body and hormones will never be "normal again. Sorry to post such a long story, I. Desperate for help. And I can't take hormone pills. As I am a smoker, trying to quit

Hi there, Check your hormone levels and read about what's normal for your age group. I vaguely remember depression having to do with low levels of estrogen....I will research it soon.

What hormone levels need to be checked? My doctor did a FSH on me but that was it.
