Sara, if you have no bowel movement for 7 days then you really should see a doctor, especially as you say the food comes right back. I dont think you will burst but you need to drink at least 2 litres of water per day, to help things along. A mild constipation reliever like Fybogel may help...one per day. And try more fruit in your diet and cut out the starchy stuff like chips, pastry, cakes etc However if you cannot even keep liquids down then you need a doctor. Can you go to your local emergency department?.

well, happened to me in 2018. it was... awful. scary even. hours waiting on ER not being able to sit upright ( i had to lean to the left at all times)
after HOURS and an echography the gp said "dont worry, it's just gas"
i remember being about to cry with anger and deep sadness. "if it is GAS, it is not going out. for a week and a half and it gets worse each day. i need help!"
he replied "all i ca do is send you to a specialist."
3 days later i saw a gastro who requested a colonoscopy. and sadly, with great shame, i showed up to the colonoscopy as good as new.
since the colon has to be clean and empty to do de procedure... it fixed me.
im not saying you should take something to clear you bowels, because if the problem is an obstruction... well... it wont help you at all.
seek a professional and if you do have ibs it wont go away. it come and goes. sometimes a change in diet works wonders, if you have the resources (i tried and helped a lot, but became too expensive in money and time for my current situation)
i hope you got better
