I have been experiencing twitching and jerky movements. Like a shoulder will jerk. A toe, my lip. Its not constant but it happens a lot through the day. Ive noticed when im busy I dont feel it as much. Ive had headaches since I can remember. Ill get twitches in my calves. And the jerky movements isnt always a finher toe or shoulder sometimes my head will jer as well and ive been getting twitches in my head and my temple. I have severe anxiety and this is just making it worse. I have three small children and im just fearing the worst. Has anyone else experienced this and gotten a diagnosis?

I have been battling these, and more, symptoms for years now. I have gone through tests, drugs, even counseling because I was told this is all in my head! I refused to believe that and so did my therapist. I went to different doctors and told them we were going to begin again so that I can have my life back. Long story short: I have a vitamin B12 deficiency! It causes neuropathy among other things. Get it checked, it could save you years of aggravation and put you back on the right track!

Hello.
I'm no expert but it sounds like anxiety to me, the worry can cause it to flair. Avoid stress if you can

Sometimes medication can cause twitching.
I know a common drug people take for depression/anxiety/sleep...is QUETIAPINE..and this medication has the exact side effects you mention.
If it is not this medication it could be caused by another medication.

Anxiety can cause all of this I'm afraid. It may well be a deficiency but twitching is very common with anxiety disorders, which is probably why you don't notice it when you're busy. It stinks, believe me I know. And things get so much worse after children because you eorry so much more. Do some research on anxiety symptoms. I hope that puts your mind at ease!

Hope my letter is helpful. It is so frustrating not knowing what we are sick of.
